Mozingo earns Third Team All-America Honors
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – College Soccer News honored BYU’s junior midfielder Brecken Mozingo as Third Team All-American, the organization announced Friday.
After a career-high season of 12 goals, 10 assists and 34 points, Mozingo was also honored by United Soccer Coaches as a Second Team All-American. Along with her All-America honors, she was named to the All-WCC First Team and the All-West Region Team.
Averaging 5.78 shots per game, Mozingo found herself ranked No. 1 in the nation. With two WCC Player of the Week awards this year, Mozingo went on a five-game scoring streak, tallying six goals and two assists during that period.
