Jamie Shepherd named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Junior midfielder Jamie Shepherd was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday. 

The College Soccer News National Team of the Week recognizes 11  players who played a key role in the success of their teams during the week. 

During the BYU vs. Ohio State matchup, Shepherd tallied two goals in the second half for her first multiple-goal game as a collegiate athlete. These goals led to a BYU 2-0 victory and earned Shepherd the honor of WCC Offensive Player of the Week. 

With an additional goal in the home opener against the Colorado Buffs, Shepherd now leads the team in goals (3) and points (7).
