HARRISON, N.J. — BYU women's soccer forward Cameron Tucker signed a two-year deal with Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League Wednesday afternoon.

After five seasons with BYU, Tucker scored the sixth-most all-time goals with 43 and the eighth-most all-time assists with 29. She was named to the 2021 Women's College Cup All-Tournament Team last week, after helping lead the Cougars to the national championship title game for the first time in BYU history. Tucker has been named West Coast Conference Player of the Week five times throughout her career, with two honors during the 2021 season.

"This opportunity is a dream come true for me," Tucker said. "I couldn’t have picked a better place to continue my career. I’m so excited to play alongside some great players and be coached by amazing coaches who won’t only help me become a better soccer player, but will also help me grow in many ways off of the soccer field."

Tucker's breakthrough 2021 performance of 16 goals and 8 assists earned her a ranking as the No. 11 best women's college soccer player by Top Drawer Soccer. Her senior season also brought in multiple NCAA and conference honors including Third Team All-American, NCAA West All-Region Team and All-WCC First Team. Tucker had five game-winning goals this year, including a game-winner against No. 1 seeded Virginia to advance the Cougars to the Elite 8 for the fourth time in school history.
