BYU women's soccer staff named West Regional Staff of the Year

BYU staff wins Regional Staff of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The BYU women's soccer coaching staff has been named the 2021 West Regional Staff of the Year, the United Soccer Coaches announced on Tuesday. Each of the 60 staffs, 30 men's and 30 women's, receiving Regional Staff of the Year honors will be recognized at the College Coaches Awards Ceremony at the United Soccer Coaches Convention on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022. In addition, the Regional Staff of the Year recipients have been placed on the ballot for United Soccer Coaches National Staff of the Year consideration within their respective NCAA division.

Jennifer Rockwood is in her 27th season as head coach at BYU, and is entering her 23rd NCAA Tournament. The staff composed of Rockwood, assistant coach Brent Anderson, assistant coach Steve Magleby, volunteer assistant Madie Gates and administrative assistant Rachel Jorgensen, has led the team to a WCC Championship title and BYU's first-ever NCAA College Cup appearance this season.
