SAN MATEO, Calif. – BYU women’s soccer senior forward Cameron Tucker collected the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week award, the league announced on Monday.

Tucker’s historic night on Wednesday, Oct. 6, helped BYU secure a 7-0 victory over Saint Mary’s. In the first West Coast Conference game at home for the Cougars, Tucker dominated with two goals in each half of the match: 21’, 31’, 56’ and 62’. Tucker’s four-goal performance moved her into the top-10 all-time at BYU in career goals scored. The senior forward from Highland, Utah is now tied with Michelle Jensen Peterson for ninth all-time at 36 career goals. Also, her eight points from Saturday night leads all BYU players in points during a single game this season.

Tucker also recorded six shots, and two shots-on-goal on Saturday against San Diego.

All together, Tucker had four goals and eight points this week. Tucker is second in goals (9), second in points (22) and tied for seventh in assists (4) for the WCC in 2021.

This award marks the fourth WCC weekly honor collected by a BYU player this season, and first individual honor for Tucker this season.

Throughout her career, Tucker has been awarded five WCC Player of the Week honors.
