No. 16 BYU travels to Pepperdine
PROVO, Utah – No. 16 BYU women's soccer is set to take on No. 25 Pepperdine on Saturday, April 10 in Malibu, California for its second to last regular season game.
Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for 12 p.m. PT at Tari Frahm Rokus Field. Radio coverage will be on BYU Sports Network—BYU Radio 107.9 FM with audio play-by-play also streaming on the BYU Cougars app and at BYUCougars.com/LiveRadio. The game will also be available for video streaming on the WCC Network.
IN THE RANKINGS. BYU is ranked No. 16 in the National Soccer Coaches Association Poll. In the TopDrawerSoccer national rankings, BYU is ranked No. 21.
LAST TIME ON THE FIELD. BYU tied 1-1 after two overtimes at Saint Mary’s on Saturday, April 3. This was the first overtime game of the season for the Cougars and the first draw. Cameron Tucker was the only Cougar to score, putting the ball into the net in the 86th minute to tie the game.

THE WAVES. Pepperdine is coming off a huge 7-0 shutout against San Diego last Saturday. The Waves scored five goals in the first 19 minutes against the Toreros. The seven goals for the Waves was a season high.
COUGARS VS. WAVES. The last time the Cougars and Waves met was on Oct. 9, 2019, when BYU recorded a 5-1 victory over Pepperdine. BYU scored its first three goals in the first half before the Waves answered back in the 42nd minute. The Cougars found the back of the net two more times early in the second half, and outshot the Waves 17 to 15. The Cougars are 5-6-0 all-time against the Waves.
