Flake named to WCC All-Academic Team
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Senior Elise Flake was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team the WCC announced on Tuesday.
Flake was one of 11 players selected to the all-academic team. She had previously been named Honorable Mention in 2017 and 2018.
Eight other members of the BYU women's soccer squad received All-Academic Honorable Mention: Lizzy Braby, Ella Ballstaedt, Mikayla Colohan, Sabrina Davis, Josie Guinn, Alyssa Jefferson, Rachel Lyman and Makaylie Moore.
The forward has a 3.54 GPA and is studying family life. She will graduate in April 2020.
To be considered for the conference's all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and play significant minutes throughout the season.
