SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Senior forward Elise Flake was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

The Hermann Trophy nominee scored a goal in each of BYU's games last week while adding a pair of assists to lead the Cougars to a second-consecutive WCC Championship and an undefeated regular season.

Against Gonzaga, Flake assisted on goals by Jamie Shepherd and Mikayla Colohan while finding the back of the net in the 36th minute as BYU took a 3-0 win over the Bulldogs in Spokane, Washington.

On senior night, the forward scored in the fourth minute to give the Cougars an early 1-0 lead and help aid them to an explosive 8-1 victory to finish out the regular season.

The Mapleton, Utah native recorded two goals and two assists for six points in 134 minutes on the field.
