Four players named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Second Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Sabrina Davis, Lizzy Braby, Mikayla Colohan and Elise Flake were named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Second Team.

Davis leads the team as BYU's main goalkeeper this season, allowing only eight goals while grabbing 40 saves. With a 3.36 GPA, Davis will graduate in December with a degree in exercise and wellness and a minor in gerontology.

Midfielder Braby leads the offense with nine assists and has added three goals in BYU's undefeated season. She boasts a 3.67 GPA and will graduate in April 2020 with a degree in exercise and wellness.

A Hermann Trophy nominee, Colohan has a 3.47 GPA and is studying exercise and wellness. The junior midfielder has recorded an impressive 12 goals and six assists for 30 points. She also leads the conference in total shots after tallying 81 this season.

Flake, also a Hermann Trophy nominee, leads the Cougars with 17 goals, five assists and 39 points. She is currently tied for fifth in the BYU record book for career goals with 37. The forward has a 3.54 GPA and plans to graduate in April 2020 with a degree in family studies.
