2019 spring schedule announced
PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s soccer head coach Jennifer Rockwood announced the 2019 spring schedule, which begins on Saturday, Mar. 2 at UNLV.
The team opens up spring competition at a tournament in Las Vegas on Saturday, Mar. 2. The first game will take place at 11 a.m. PST against the Rebels while the second will immediately follow against USC at 12:30 p.m. PST.
Following a break, the Cougars will return to Las Vegas on Mar. 16, playing UNLV one more time at 1 p.m. PDT. BYU then plays Cal State Northridge at 4 p.m. PDT. All competitions at UNLV will be held at the UNLV Soccer Complex.
On Mar. 23, BYU will travel to Arizona for a tournament. The first competition will be against the Wildcats at 12 p.m. MST, at ASU West Campus. The second match will be played at the Phoenix Rising Venue and will be versus Arizona State at 6 p.m. MST.
The rivalry against Utah is set to take place on Saturday, Apr. 6. The time and location will be announced at a later date.
The final tournament of the spring schedule will be held at South Field on Saturday, Apr. 13. BYU will take on Colorado at 5:30 p.m. MDT and then Dixie State at 8 p.m. MDT.
The team lost senior Madie Siddoway Gates and freshman Olivia Wade but has welcomed Ellie Maughan, who graduated early from Weber High School.
