Flake named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American
PROVO, Utah – Junior Elise Flake was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Third Team.
Flake's 14 goals and five assists for 33 points led the BYU offense this season as she took 55 shots and tallied 1,230 minutes on the field while playing in all 19 games.
In the classroom, the forward from Mapleton who prepped at Maple Mountain High School has a 3.51 GPA and is studying family life.
Her success on the field and in the classroom, have aided her to be named to five different awards: All-WCC First Team, WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention, All-West Region First Team, Scholar All-West Region First Team and Scholar All-American Third Team.
