PROVO, Utah – The BYU women's soccer team will travel to TCU in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. CST.

"TCU has had a great season," BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood said. "I feel like we've seen some of the top teams in the nation and we've played up to the level of competition each time. We are just proud to represent the WCC."

After not going to the tournament in 2017, the Cougars have bounced back with a 13-4-1 record this season and went 8-1 in West Coast Conference action to win the title outright and the automatic bid to the tournament. This was the sixth time BYU has been named WCC conference champions since joining the conference in 2011.

The 2018 season marks the 19th time the Cougars have made it to the NCAA tournament. Most recently, BYU appeared in the Third Round in 2016, falling 1-0 to South Carolina.

Ticket sales and broadcast information will be announced as it becomes available.
