PROVO, Utah – The BYU women's soccer team looks to stay undefeated in West Coast Conference action at San Diego on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. PDT.

UNDEFEATED IN THE WCC. The Cougars (7-3-1, 2-0-0 WCC) opened up WCC action last week and was the only team in the conference to pick up two wins. BYU topped Gonzaga 3-1 as former associate head coach Chris Watkins returned to South Field. The second victory came against Portland, as the Cougars took a dominant 3-0 win at home. Four different players found the back of the net in the two games while Sabrina Macias Davis recorded 11 saves in goal.

WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK. Junior Elise Flake was named WCC Player of the Week after scoring a goal in both conference games. She continues to lead the offense with seven goals, three assists, 17 points and 28 shot attempts. 

THE TOREROS. San Diego (4-6-1, 0-2-0 WCC) is coming off of a 4-1 loss to Portland and a 3-2 overtime loss to Gonzaga at home. Milan Moses scored the lone goal against Portland on a penalty kick. Moses and Katie Lapomarda scored in regulation against the Bulldogs before Gonzaga found the back of the net in the 103rd minute. Moses leads the team with nine goals and seven other players have scored this season.

SERIES INFORMATION. BYU leads the series 7-3 after most recently falling 2-1 to the Toreros on South Field in 2017.
