Bowen named to WCC All-Academic Team
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Bizzy Bowen was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team for the third year in a row, as announced by the WCC on Wednesday.
Bowen was one of 11 players selected to the all-academic team. Five other members of the BYU women's soccer squad received All-Academic Honorable Mention: Lizzy Braby, Elise Flake, Stephanie Ney, Madie Siddoway and Brittain Steiner.
A senior, Bowen, boasts a 3.89 GPA and is studying business marketing. She will graduate in April.
Ney is being mentioned for the third time and Siddoway earned her second mention.
To be considered for the conference's all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and play significant minutes throughout the season.
