Ney named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 First Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Senior defender Stephanie Ney was named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 First Team Thursday afternoon.
The Cottonwood Heights, Utah native, will graduate in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and boasts a 3.83 GPA.
Ney helped anchor a BYU defense this season that recorded six shutouts. She started in all 19 games and was second on the team in minutes played with 1,753. She also recorded two shots.
Ney will advance to the Academic All-America Ballot, where the winners will be announced in December.
