PROVO – BYU women's soccer announced its broadcast schedule for the 2016 season on Wednesday, featuring games across TV, radio and web platforms.

Each of the team's games will be available on TV, radio, and the internet and many will be available in multiple formats, barring potential conflicts with other BYU sports.

As far as TV is concerned, BYUtv plans to broadcast eight of the Cougars' nine home games, depending again on potential conflicts with football start times. The final regular season game, a home game against Gonzaga, will be available via live stream on TheW.tv. The Oct. 6 game at Loyola Marymount will be offered by ESPNU. Pending BYU's selection to and advancement in the NCAA Tournament, BYUtv would broadcast any games hosted by the Cougars.

BYUtv talent for soccer games once again includes Spencer Linton (play-by-play), Natalyn Lewis (analyst) and Lauren Francom (sideline reporter). The first game on BYUtv will be on Aug. 22 at 5:30 p.m., when BYU hosts Nebraska in the team's first home game.

The Cougar IMG Sports Network will again this season broadcast BYU women’s soccer matches on the radio, via ESPN 960, BYU Radio and the ESPN 960 app; games will also air on BYU Radio (SiriusXM 143). In addition, broadcasts will be streamed on BYUCougars.com and the BYU Cougars gameday app. "Voice of the Cougars" Greg Wrubell returns for this third season of play-by-play.

"I’m eager to kick off another year of BYU women’s soccer on the radio," said Wrubell. "Coach Rockwood has crafted another nationally prominent schedule, and with the experienced players on her roster, it should be a stellar season for the Cougars--and for our listeners."

Wrubell will be joined on the broadcasts by former BYU men’s soccer player and coach Hugh Van Wagenen, and former BYU women’s soccer player Colette Smith, both of whom return for their third seasons of color commentary.

The first Cougar IMG Sports Network radio broadcast will be the annual Blue-White exhibition match on Saturday, Aug. 6, at South Field at 7 p.m.

Broadcast details for each game will be available and updated as needed on the women's soccer schedule page.
