PROVO, Utah -- BYU sophomore forward Ashley Hatch was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tires All-America Third Team on Friday morning.

Hatch led the West Coast Conference in goals with 18 and added 6 assists in 21 games as she was named WCC Co-Player of the Year and named to the All-West Region First Team. She is currently ninth in the nation in goals per game and 10th in points per game. Hatch had a historical season for BYU as she recorded the first hat trick at BYU since 2005 and set the program record for shots in a game when she took 15 shots against Saint Mary's. Hatch's five games with multiple goals this season trails only career goals leader Shauna Rohbock for mutliple goal games in a season.

This is the 10th consecutive season with a Cougar on one of the three All-America teams as voted on by the NSCAA and Hatch is the 11th Cougar to earn NSCAA All-America honors. Pepperdine's Lynn Williams earned All-America First Team honors, while Santa Clara's Sofia Huerta also earned third team honors.
