Vote for Ashley Hatch for Soccer News Net College Boot Award

PROVO, Utah -- BYU sophomore forward Ashley Hatch is an at-large finalist for the 2014 Soccer News Net College Boot award, gvien to the women's college player of the year.

Hatch was named West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year along with Santa Clara's Sofia Huerta after she scored 18 goals and assisted on six others. Of the 30 nominees for the award, Hatch has the second most goals and points. Hatch helped BYU to a 13-5-3 record and the outright WCC championship.

Online fan voting counts for 40 percent of the total voting for the award. The remaining 60 percent will come from votes by Soccer News Net staff. The winner of the popular vote receives the Soccer News Net Supporter's Choice Award.

Rules for voting are simple, vote for your favorite player as many times as you like, but play fair. Do your own voting. Soccer News Net reserves the right to nullify votes that appear to have been cast by automatic voting software.
