Cougars host Oregon, Colorado College

PROVO, Utah – BYU women's soccer looks to continue its winning ways as it hosts Oregon and Colorado College this week to finish off a four-game homestand.

BYU (2-3-2) ended a three-game losing streak on Saturday as they beat No. 23 Long Beach State 2-0 at South Field. Sophomore forward Ashley Hatch scored two goals and became the sixth fastest Cougar to reach 10 goals in a career. She accomplished the feat in 28 games. The five faster players all scored 10 goals their freshman seasons.

Oregon (4-2-1) had a five-game unbeaten streak end on Friday as they lost 1-0 to Portland State. The Ducks have yet to win an away game, but have picked up a victory at a neutral site. BYU hosts Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. MDT. The game will be broadcast on BYUtv and simulcast on BYU Radio on Sirius XM channel 143. The Cougar IMG Sports Network will broadcast the game on BYUCougars.com and the BYU Cougars app.

Colorado College (4-1-2) beat Oakland University and Central Michigan over the weekend. The Tigers face BYU in their final nonconference game before starting their first season in the Mountain West Conference. The Cougars host the Tigers on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. MDT. The game will be streamed on TheW.tv and can be heard on the Cougar IMG Sports Network on BYUCougars.com and the BYU Cougars app.

Game Promotions:

Thursday's "Pack the House" game will feature t-shirts for the first 4,000 fans at South Field, while Saturday's "Bring the Heat" game will include sunglasses for the first 2,000 fans.
