2013 Season in Review
PROVO, Utah - BYU women's soccer won its second consecutive West Coast Conference title and made the NCAA tournament for the second straight year in 2013.
BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood won her 300th game against San Francisco on Oct. 10. She finished the season with a career record of 308-89-32. She is fifth among active coaches in winning percentage and is the sixth NCAA Division I coach to win 300 games at one institution. The Cougars made the NCAA tournament for the 15th time in its history and advanced to the second round.
The Cougars recorded the 100th shutout at South Field against Nebraska on Aug. 31. That game also set the attendance record and was the first time 5,000 fans watched a BYU soccer game. The record stood for another week before a win over Utah drew 5,402 fans.
Cloee Colohan earned NSCAA All-America Third Team honors and five different Cougars earned NSCAA All-West Region honors as BYU shared the West Coast Conference title with Santa Clara and Portland.
