Five Cougars named NSCAA All-Region

PROVO, Utah - Five women's soccer players received NSCAA All-West Region honors this week.

Senior goalkeeper Erica Owens and senior midfielder Cloee Colohan were named to the All-West Region First Team. Senior Rachel Manning and sophomore Paige Hunt were named to the All-West Region Second Team and freshman forward Ashley Hatch was named to the All-West Region Third Team.

The West Coast Conference dominated the All-West Region First Team. WCC teams placed 10 of the 11 players on the first team and more than half of the 33 total honorees.

Earlier this postseason, Colohan and Manning were named to the All-WCC First Team. Colohan also earned CollegeSportsMadness.com All-America Fourth Team honors. Owens was named WCC Goalkeeper of the Year and put on the All-WCC Second Team along with Hunt. Hatch was also named to the WCC All-Freshman team.

The Cougars finished the season as West Coast Conference co-champions and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
