A slew of national and conference rankings were released on Tuesday and the BYU women's soccer team made the top 10 in two national polls. The Cougars were also picked third in the West Coast Conference, behind Santa Clara and Portland. BYU players Cloee Colohan, Rachel Manning, Michele Murphy and Erica Owens were picked for the Preseason All-WCC team.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Preseason poll placed BYU at No. 6 in the country, behind the top five of North Carolina, Stanford, Florida State, Penn State and UCLA.

TopDrawerSoccer.com put BYU as the No. 9 team in the country. Notre Dame, Virginia and Duke were the additional teams placed in front of the Cougars.
