Last regular season meet for gymnastics

PROVO, Utah – The BYU women’s gymnastics team will be traveling north to face No. 14 Boise State for their last meet of the regular season, Friday March 23, at Taco Bell Arena. The meet will also be Senior Night for the Broncos.

The Cougars faced Boise State earlier in the season, during the first home meet for BYU. The result of that meet was a 195.750 – 194.750 win for the Broncos. Since then, BYU has continued to fight through injuries to try and secure a berth to the regional tournament.

“We really need to hit this meet,” said BYU head coach Brad Cattermole. “Because we’re still on the bubble for making it to regionals. Whether or not we make it into regionals is in our own hands. We can make it by competing well in this last meet. Right now it’s about getting a score, not wins or losses, because that is what will get us to regionals.”
