Last Meet Against Rival Utah
PROVO -- For their last meet of the season, the No. 14 Cougars will face their biggest rival No. 1 Utah for the second time this season.
The last time BYU and Utah met was at the Huntsman Center in front of 14,100 fans. BYU lost the match 194.350-196.650. The Cougars are now 10-5 and the Utes are 11-2.
This meet will be the last for both teams before the postseason. This year the NCAA North Central Regionals will be hosted by Utah April 9th in the Huntsman Center.
In the rankings, senior Jaime Mabray is 25th in the all-around category. Not far behind is Marie-Helene Claveau at spot 35. On beam Dayna Smart is ranked 18th and Claveau is at No. 26. Claveau continues to be the best on vault with a No. 21 ranking.
As for the team, BYU holds its No. 10 ranking on vault, only three spots behind Utah's No. 7. BYU is 16th on beam and 25th on bars and floor.
The meet will be Saturday, March 26th, at 7p.m. in the Marriott Center. It will be broadcast on BYU-TV.
