BYU hosts Alaska for final home meet
PROVO, Utah — The BYU women’s gymnastics team will host Alaska Anchorage for the final home meet of the 2023 season on Wednesday morning.

BYU has competed against the Seawolves two times previously, for a 2-0 record. The last time the two teams met was in 2016 when the Cougars took home the 195.575-191.100 win.
THE SEAWOLVES. The Alaska Seawolves last competed against future Big 12 opponent Iowa State on Sunday, Feb. 19. Iowa State took home the win, beating Alaska 195.525-192.500. The Seawolves' highest team score this season is a 193.700, led by a 48.875 on beam and 48.775 on floor.
THE COUGARS. The BYU Cougars last competed in the Smith Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 24 against the Aggies for a senior night celebration. BYU took home the win, beating Utah State 196.450-195.425. Sophomore Mina Margraf earned Co-Beam Specialist of the Week with a 9.900 on the apparatus, her second-highest score this season. The Cougars scored above 49.000 on all four events Friday evening.
