Cougars ranked No. 22 in WCGA Preseason Poll
Marlboro, NJ – The BYU women’s gymnastics team heads into the 2023 season ranked No. 22 nationally as voted on by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association, the organization announced Friday.
With 22 first place votes, the University of Oklahoma is the top gymnastics team heading into the 2023 season, followed by Florida and Utah. All three of BYU’s conference foes have been ranked amongst the top 36 teams with Boise State at No. 26, Southern Utah at No. 28 and Utah State closing out the group at No. 34.
The Cougars begin their 2023 season with the fourth annual Rio Tinto Best of Utah Gymnastics Meet against No. 3 Utah, Southern Utah and Utah State on Friday, Jan. 13 at the Maverik Center.
Ticket prices for the Best of Utah Meet range between $25-$50
