MRGC honors Elease Rollins and Abby Boden-Stainton as Beam Specialists of the Week
LOGAN, Utah - Freshman Elease Rollins and senior Abby Boden-Stainton drew attention during BYU’s meet against Utah State on Friday with their 9.900 beam routines. On Monday, the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference honored the pair with MRGC Beam Specialists of the Week.
The Cougars achieved their highest score of the season in a massive win over the Aggies, 196.425-195.175. BYU earning its highest total beam score of the season, a 49.150, was a contributing factor. Prior to this, the season record stood at 48.850.
This is the pair’s first MRGC accolade of the season, including a first ever for Rollins.
