Gymnastics announces 2020 roster

PROVO, Utah – As of Monday, BYU gymnastics head coach Guard Young announced the official roster for the upcoming 2020 season, including five newcomers.

Last season, the team said goodbye to graduates Cheyenne Hill and Natasha Marsh.

This year, the roster contains three seniors (Shannon Evans, Briana Pearson and Angel Zhong), six juniors, eight sophomores, three redshirt freshman and five true freshmen. Joining the team this year are the following gymnasts:

ALLIX MASON

  • Hometown: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

  • Height: 5’3”

  • Events: All-Around

ANYSSA ALVARADO

  • Hometown: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

  • Height: 5’3”

  • Events: All-Around

ELEASE ROLLINS

  • Hometown:  West Jordan, UT

  • Height: 4’11”

  • Events: Beam, Vault, Bars

LINDSEY HUNTER

  • Hometown: Santa Clarita, CA

  • Height: 5’4”

  • Events: Bars

MAYA PAGE

  • Hometown: Houston, TX

  • Height: 5’4”

  • Events: All-Around
