No. 17 BYU travels to Baton Rouge for NCAA Regionals
PROVO, Utah – The No. 17 BYU gymnastics team will travel to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional and compete on Friday, Apr. 5, at 2 p.m. CDT.

THE COUGARS. In BYU's last competition, the team took third place in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championship after scoring a 195.750. Head coach Guard Young was named MRGC Coach of the Year while junior Shannon Evans claimed Gymnast of the Year honors. Helody Cyrenne earned the beam title at the championship after scoring a 9.900.
THE UTES. At the Pac-12 Championships, Utah claimed second place with a 198.025 as UCLA scored a 198.400 to take home the trophy. The Utes and Bruins earned the two highest scores in the nation for the week. MyKayla Skinner earned a 10.000 on floor to share the title while also tying for first place on vault.
THE GOPHERS. Minnesota scored a 196.425 to take fourth place at the Big Ten Championships. Lexy Ramler is the 2019 B1G Gymnast of the Year and was the B1G beam champion. She is ranked fourth in the nation with an RQS of 9.945 on beam.
THE RAZORBACKS. Arkansas finished fifth at the SEC Championships, scoring a 196.475 in session one. The Razorbacks had three gymnasts earn All-SEC, including Kennedy Hambrick in the all-around, while two freshmen were named to the All-SEC Freshman Team.
