Evans earns MRGC honors for seventh-straight week

LOGAN, Utah – Junior Shannon Evans earned Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Floor Specialist of the Week honors for her performance at Southern Utah.

Evans scored a 9.925 on floor as she shared the honor with Utah State's Madison Ward-Sessions. The junior went on to score a 39.200 in the all-around.

Evans extended her weekly honor streak to seven as she was named Floor Specialist for the third time this season.

The Cougars continue on the road at George Washington on Friday, Mar. 1, at 7 p.m. EST.
