No. 20 BYU hosts No. 10 Boise State Friday

PROVO, Utah – The No. 20 BYU gymnastics team returns to the Smith Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 15, hosting No. 10 Boise State at 7 p.m. MST.

Meet Information

THE COUGARS. BYU's 196.425 secured a first place finish in its first quad meet of the season, beating Air Force, Springfield and Seattle Pacific last week. It was the highest score the Cougars have received on the road this season and the third time they have scored a 196 or higher.

CYRENNE'S CAREER NIGHT. At Air Force, freshman Helody Cyrenne scored an impressive 9.950 for her performance on the uneven bars, as well as a 9.875 on the balance beam. Both scores gave her the title at the meet and she was named MRGC Bars Specialist of the Week.

THE BRONCOS. Boise State topped Utah State, 196.075-194.975, last week. The Broncos have taken first place in all five of their meets this season and scored a 196.625 against Southern Utah for a season high. Senior Shani Remme has dominated the MRGC weekly awards, taking the Gymnast of the Week honors three times. At Utah State, Remme scored a 39.525 in the all-around to claim the weekly honor.
