Taylor named Mountain Region Women’s Coach of the Year

Diljeet Taylor - Women's Cross Country Mountain Region Coach of the Year

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named Diljeet Taylor the Mountain Region Women’s Coach of the Year, honoring her as the top women’s cross country coach in the region this season.

Taylor, in her fifth year coaching the BYU women’s cross country team, led the Cougars to the team title with 96 points at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Earlier in the season, BYU won team titles at the West Coast Cross Country Championships, the Silver State Collegiate Challenge, and the Oklahoma State Invitational.
