BYU’s Alice Jensen Named WCC Runner of the Month
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named Alice Jensen as its Women’s Runner of the Month for September 2015.
Jensen is already making a big impact for the Cougars, placing top 10 in a pair of races to start her first collegiate season. Jensen ran away with medalist honors, placing first, at the WCC Preview. She finished her tour of the championship course at Plantes Ferry Park in 21:18.09, leading the Cougars to a first place team finish.
She also placed 10th in the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 17:47.0.
The 2015 WCC Cross Country Championships take place at the Spokane course, hosted by Gonzaga University, on Oct. 31.
