Cougars ranked No. 26 nationally
BYU women’s cross country team is ranked No. 26 in this week’s USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll which was released on Oct. 8.
The No. 26 ranking is the highest the Cougars have earned all season, making a two-point jump since the last rankings were released last week.
The Cougars began this season unranked, and quickly jumped on the national radar, being ranked No. 28 nationally as of Oct. 1. BYU had an impressive race last weekend at the Notre Dame Invitational, as they beat four nationally ranked teams and finished fourth.
This week’s results have BYU as one of only two West Coast Conference teams ranked in the national poll, with the Cougars behind No. 10 San Francisco.
