BYU ranked No. 3 regionally
BYU women’s cross country team is now ranked No. 3 in the Mountain Region announced today in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.
The Cougars began this season unranked, and quickly jumped on the national radar, being ranked No. 28 nationally as of Oct. 1. The Cougars had an impressive race last weekend at the Notre Dame invitational, beating four nationally ranked teams and taking home fourth place.
Last week’s results have BYU as one of only two West Coast Conference teams ranked in the national poll, with the Cougars behind San Francisco.
The USTFCCCA is scheduled to release their national coaches poll tomorrow, and after the Notre Dame invitational, BYU is anticipated to move up.
