PROVO, Utah – The outright West Coast Conference regular-season champions moved up two spots to No. 17 in the Associated Press Top 25 on Monday.

BYU (25-2, 15-1) has been ranked for 14 consecutive weeks, a program record. The Cougars were ranked in nine straight weeks in 2006.

With a 2-0 week against Santa Clara and Pacific on the road, BYU clinched its first regular-season league title since 2016 and fifth under head coach Jeff Judkins.

The Cougars also set a team record earlier this year with a No. 16 ranking three different times, the highest in school history.

As of Feb. 27, BYU is No. 9 in the NCAA NET rankings. Monday's latest ESPN Bracketology projections had the Cougars as a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

BYU ranks nationally at No. 3 in scoring margin (+21.2), No. 5 in field goal percentage (47.7), No. 6 in scoring offense (79.2) and No. 22 in field goal percentage defense (35.7). The Cougars are also among the nation's best in sharing the ball, ranking No. 2 in assists per game (20.3).

Up next, BYU travels to Las Vegas for the WCC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. The Cougars received a bye to the semifinals and will play Monday, March 7 at 12 p.m. PST at the Orleans Arena.
