Game Called Due to Rain
FRESNO, Calif. - The BYU softball team's third and final game against Fresno State was called off in the top of the fourth inning due to rain on Saturday with the score tied, 3-3.
Because the game did not go at least five full innings, all results and statistics will not count toward official standings.
After Jessica Dugas hit a double, Delaney Willard knocked a home run to give BYU a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
BYU remains at 21-10 on the year and 3-2 in the Western Athletic Conference.
The team will next play Southern Utah at home on Tuesday, Apr. 3, at 6 p.m. MT and will be televised live on BYUtv.
