PROVO -- The BYU women’s softball team will kick off their fall schedule by competing in two tournaments/invites by attending the Utah Valley Invite and the BYU/UVU Fall Tourney.

“These tournaments give us a chance to shape and mold our team,” BYU head coach Gordon Eakin said. “They serve as learning experiences and give us a chance to fix the aspects of our game that need perfecting.”

The Cougars head into the fall season following their ninth-consecutive winning season. The 40-18 team finished first in the Mountain West Conference. This achievement marks the fourth time the Cougars have won the title, and the third time in five years.
