Cougs Enter Top-25
PROVO -- For the first time since 2006 the BYU softball team has entered the top-25. The Ultimate College Softball Top 25 Coaches Poll ranks BYU at No. 24 with a 32-14 record.
The Cougars are listed at 28th in both the USA Today/NFCA Poll with 17 votes and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll with 11 votes.
BYU ranked as high as No. 25 during the 2006 season, but has not made a presence in the top-25 polls since then.
The No. 24 team returns to the diamond for a doubleheader on Thursday against Utah Valley at 5 p.m. Thursday. The Cougars look to extend their season-best 13-game winning streak.
