PROVO -- In-state play continues for BYU as the Cougars head to Cedar City to take on Southern Utah for a Tuesday doubleheader before wrapping up their home season on Friday and Saturday.

The Cougars and Thunderbirds will kick the week off Tuesday at 1 p.m. Game two of their doubleheader will follow shortly after game one finishes.

After finishing a streak of seven consecutive games against in-state opponents against SUU, BYU (31-16, 8-4 MWC) will look to improve its conference record when it hosts Colorado State, Friday and New Mexico, Saturday. Friday's doubleheader starts at 5 p.m. while Saturday's twinbill is a 2 p.m. start.

The home games will be the final two for five BYU players, including three four-year starters. The Cougars will honor their departing seniors immediately following Saturday's doubleheader.

BYU split two games with SUU two weeks ago while sweeping the four games against New Mexico and Colorado State.

Both of BYU's final two home dates will start with a televised game. BYU TV will carry television coverage with Jay Monson doing the play-by-play story and Gary Sheide offering commentary.

The MWC second-place Cougars will look to gain ground on conference-leading San Diego State.
