Cougars Defeat SDSU, Game Two Postponed
PROVO -- BYU continued to stay unbeaten in conference play defeating the Aztecs in game one of a double header Tuesday, but with a 2-1 lead of game two, a bank of lights went out in the stadium postponing the game. The second game will resume Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the top of the fourth inning with one out.
BYU scored their runs the getting timely hits from the bottom of their order highlighted by Jennifer Whiteley who went 3-for-3 in the game with one RBI.
Summer Tobias pitched a five hit complete game shut-out, winning her eleventh game of the season. The Cougars look to finish off the Aztecs on Friday before heading off to Las Vegas to play UNLV Saturday for a double-header.
The Cougars improved to 23-8 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
