Cougars Continue Conference Competition Against New Mexico, Colorado State
After opening its conference season last weekend against UNLV and San Diego State, the BYU softball team heads back on the road for doubleheaders against Mountain West Conference opponents New Mexico and Colorado State. BYU will face the Lobos Friday at noon before taking on Colorado State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Last Weekend
The Cougars won the inaugural Mountain West Conference game, 4-2, Friday against UNLV before dropping the second game to the Rebels that day. The Cougars then lost both games Saturday to San Diego State to finish the weekend at 1-3.

Third baseman Tracy Farley, out with a broken cheekbone and orbital lobe, has missed action for a month and a half and will be evaluated again next week for clearance to resume play. In her absence Megan Johnson has taken over at the hot corner.

Lindsay Jones will be available for relief as needed.
