PROVO, Utah — BYU softball head coach Gordon Eakin named Allie Hancock-Schneemann assistant coach on Tuesday.
Hancock-Schneemann served as the Cougars’ director of operations this past season.
After playing first base at BYU from 2016-2019, she was a volunteer assistant coach on staff from 2020-2021. Hancock-Schneemann also had an assistant coaching stint at Utah Valley from 2021-2022 prior to her return to Provo.
A Gilbert, Arizona native and an exercise and wellness graduate, Hancock-Schneemann played in 127 games across her four-year career and finished her senior season ranked No. 1 at BYU in career fielding percentage (min. 350 chances).
Hancock-Schneemann was named to the WCC Commissioner’s Bronze Honor Roll in 2018, and is married to former BYU baseball player Daniel Schneemann.
