BYU set to host a series with New Mexico
PROVO, Utah — BYU softball will host a series against the University of New Mexico on Thursday and Friday this week. The Cougars are coming off a series sweep over Iowa State, and Taylei Williams was honored as West Coast Conference player of the week.
The Lobos are 20-12 on the season, with a 1-5 conference record. Most recently, New Mexico faced Utah State University at home and suffered three loses (5-4, 4-2 and 13-4). The Lobos defeated Maine 10-2 on March 12th, whereas the Cougars defeated Maine 14-0 in their home opener on March 15th.
