Moffat-Korth earns fifth WCC Pitcher of the Week award
SAN MATEO, Calif. — After two impressive outings against Dixie State and Utah State, Autumn Moffat-Korth picked up her fifth WCC Pitcher of the Week award, the conference announced Monday.
Autumn Moffat-Korth went 2-0 in two appearances and 13.0 innings pitched. She threw a complete game, seven inning shutout at Utah State to close out the regular season where she recorded nine strikeouts and no walks, allowing just five hits. Moffat-Korth finished the week with 18 strikeouts, no walks, 10 hits and one run, for an ERA of 0.54.
The Cougars claimed 14 of the 26 WCC weekly awards this season while also winning their 12th-consecutive conference title. Other Cougars who won weekly awards this season include HannahJo Peterson, Violet Zavodnik, Rylee Jensen, Alyssa Podhurcak, Arissa Paulson and Martha Epenesa.
