Jensen-McFarland, Moffat-Korth earn Week One WCC Awards
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Seniors Rylee Jensen-McFarland and Autumn Moffat-Korth were named West Coast Conference player and pitcher of the week the conference announced Tuesday.
Rylee Jensen-McFarland boasted a .632 batting average through five games including four homers over the weekend at the St. George Classic. Jensen-McFarland blasted three dingers in one day with two against Montana and one against Utah State. The senior started all five games, tallying 11 hits on 18 at bats with nine runs while driving in seven. The leadoff batter went 3-4 in three games out of five games and managed a 1.44 slugging percentage and a .632 on-base percentage.
Autumn Moffat-Korth started three games this weekend pitching 17.1 innings at the St. George Classic. She pitched a one-hit shutout against Montana while also striking out a career-high nine batters. The senior followed it up pitching a complete game against Nevada again retiring nine batters. The right-hander pitched her way to wins while maintaining a 1.21 ERA.
