LOUISVILLE, Ky – After her performance in the Judi Garman Classic, Rylee Jensen-McFarland earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association National Player of the Week.

This marks the third NFCA weekly honor for Jensen-McFarland, who earned the award in 2017 as a freshman and last year during her junior campaign. Over five games at the Judi Garman Classic, the senior outfielder finished the weekend batting .643 (9-for-14) with eight RBI and seven runs scored. Jensen-McFarland, who doubled, tripled and launched three home runs, slugged 1.500 and registered a .684 on-base percentage (four walks).

The Idaho Falls, Idaho native cracked long balls in three straight games, including a two-run shot versus Illinois (4-for-4, 2 RBI, 2 R). Jensen-McFarland, the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, also homered against Texas Tech and Boise State, while scoring twice in wins over Cal Poly and the Red Raiders.
