Back-to-back WCC Player of the Week for Jensen-McFarland
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second consecutive week, Rylee Jensen-McFarland earned West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Jensen-McFarland finished the weekend batting .643 at the Judi Garman Classic where BYU went 4-1, including a win over No. 25 Texas Tech. The senior totaled nine hits, eight RBI, seven runs, three home runs, a double, triple and four walks.
She had a perfect day at the plate on the first day of the tournament, going 5-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, two walks, a stolen base and a homer. The outfielder smashed home runs in three straight games including a two-run dinger against Illinois and solo shots against No. 25 Texas Tech and Boise State.
This is Jensen-McFarland's 10th overall WCC Player of the Week Award.
