BYU releases fall softball schedule

PROVO, Utah – The BYU softball team released their 2019 fall schedule which includes six home games as well as two at Dixie State. 

The Cougars are gearing up for another season in the West Coast Conference after securing its sixth-straight WCC championship during the 2019 season. 

BYU finished the 2019 season 30-26 overall with a 12-3 conference record, as well as a bid to the NCAA tournament in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Three players earned top WCC awards following the season including Lexi Tarrow for Player of the Year, Arissa Paulson for Pitcher of the Year and Erin Miklus for Defensive Player of the Year. The Cougars also had seven players named to the All-WCC teams as well as Paulson and Rylee Jensen receiving NFCA All-Pacific First Team honors. 

For its 2019 fall schedule, BYU will play seven different teams including Snow College, UVU, SLCC, Utah State, College of Southern Idaho, SUU and Dixie State. The fall season beings on Sept. 27 against Snow College at 7:00 p.m. MT at Gail Miller Field and concludes on October 26 in St. George, Utah with two games against Dixie State. 

All six home games are free to the public and fans are encouraged to come and support the team. Game times and dates can be found below with more information on the 2020 softball schedule page.
