Viramontes wins WCC Pitcher of the Week Award

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Kerisa Viramontes was named West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week following her performance in San Diego, the conference announced Monday. 

Viramontes pitched a one-hit shutout against Florida Gulf Coast in a complete game where she allowed no walks. The 2-0 victory secured her second win of the season.

This is the fourth total WCC weekly selection for BYU this season. Autumn Moffat and Rylee Jensen have also earned weekly awards, with Jensen being named Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks.
